In 1996, Dave and Neil started work at an Audio-Visual company in Liverpool, servicing sound systems, TVs, video displays, and lighting in bars and clubs nationwide, including brands like Revolution and O’Neil’s. Their shared enthusiasm for technology fostered a strong friendship.

This passion persists, evident in their excitement for new electronic technology, ensuring they stay trained on the latest releases. Their love for the field isn’t just a job requirement; it’s a shared passion that resonates throughout the business.

After working for various other companies in the electrical, audio visual and automation industries, they became aware that some of the companies they were working for did not share their passion for the industry or make sure the customers got the very best experience from the systems they had purchased. So, they decided to create Audiolux in 2007 using their friendship, skills, and experience as the foundation for the company to offer customers a friendly and professional service that ensured the customers got the very best from the systems they had installed.

Fast forward a few years, and they have built a successful audio-visual and lighting business around these core values, with a major focus on bars and restaurants. Their experience in supporting the design, and commissioning of control panels for HVAC, swimming pools, and intelligent lighting has added to their success.
